Hein Meeuwissen’s father was intrigued with small bulbs. He started at the age of eighteen with the growing of special tulips and narcissus. A hobby that grew into 9 hectares. Later the hobby was combined with a contractor company in the bulb-region. His son , Hein adopted the passion for small flowers. Now he is growing about 150 different species of bulbs.

After a number of years of getting experience in the bulb-trade and processing at an export company he started at the parental company in 1996.

In spring the bulb fields of Meeuwissen show a multi-coloured quilt. The great quantity of small flower bulbs make a large chessboard, instead of the extensive fields in one colour. A bulb-growing business with a passion for special qualities.
